FDS has a strong record advising and assisting some of the world's major franchise brands with their national and international development strategies - including some of the more go-ahead global franchisors such as Subway, Bartercard and Jani-King. This has earned FDS an unparalleled reputation among the international franchise community, one which is recognised by the warm reception the group receives at international Franchise Exhibitions worldwide.

The Company

Since 1981 FDS has been recognised as world leader in providing a total range of services to the Franchise market through an international network of franchised offices. Over the past 24 years we have grown our portfolio of national and international products and services to include:
  • domestic and international franchise consultancy
  • franchise lead generation through publications, websites and other contacts
  • franchise lead management and related services
  • brand representation and facilitation of national and international expansion
  • securing of expansion capital, executive search and other ancillary services

We feel that the time is now right to grow beyond our in-house service offerings and bring new partners on board, allowing them to benefit from the strength of our brand and international portfolio of clients and products.

The Opportunity

The opportunity presented is straightforward and compelling: to join the FDS International Network (FDSI) as an associate member. Proposed benefits of membership include:
  • increase the power of your brand, and so increase your conversion rate of existing clients and prospects through use of the FDSI brand and images on your corporate stationery
  • find new clients and prospects through promotion of your company as an FDSI member in FDS owned publications
  • earn new revenues from existing clients by representing other FDSI members' products and services
  • deliver your products and services to new client bases through other FDSI members' promotion of your portfolio

The Requirements

To join FDSI you must first meet one or more of the following criteria:
  • be an established member of your national franchise association
  • have an established track record of providing effective services to the franchise community
  • provide a product or service that is proven in non-franchise markets but which you wish to customise and deliver to franchisors and/or franchisees
  • have access to a sizable client base of potential franchisors, corporate investors or high net-worth investors that could become master franchisees or otherwise invest in franchised brands
  • not be in direct competition with an established local FDS franchisee

We envisage that the majority of members will be franchise lawyers; franchise consultants and franchise publications, however any organisation that meets the requirements above can apply for membership of FDSI.
